Welcome to my blog!

Update 3/27/2023 Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that starting the 1st of April that 'Neptunia Heart Soul' will be wrapping up it's first arc! Questions will be answered, loose ends will be tied up, Neptune and Nepgear will be going back home! I have to be honest. This trip has been really long and exhausting. Not only for Neptune and Nepgear, but also for myself. To be honest. It's been hard trying to figure out different ways to keep going. There were times since I started writing this story, that I sat down and decided this would be the final chapter. However, something kept me going. Now that I'm nearing the end, I'm really excited to see what happens next and I hope you are too! When the 30th of April roles around, I hope I'm posting the final chapter of "Neptunia Heart Souls'! We'll talk about the next arc later.

Neptunia Heart Souls- CHAPTER 83

Neptune led the charge into the forest. Instead of running off like she normally would have, Neptune decided to stay close to her sister, Vert and Cave. As the girls walked, they kept their eyes open for any signs of humans or monsters. “I can’t believe were finally going to deal with Yvoire.” Nepgear thought to herself. “That man… He really bugs me!”

“You know what Neptune?” Said Vert, in a small voice. “I’m surprised you’re not running ahead of us. I thought you’d want to get to Yvoire first.”

“Yeah, well…” Neptune began, turning her eyes to Nepgear who walked a few feet away from her. “I know Nepgear would get scared if I weren’t around. Sometimes I got to act like a big sister.”

Nepgear blinked her eyes several times when she realized that Neptune was talking about her. Nepgear looked at Neptune out of the corners of her eyes. “W-Well… I do feel better knowing that I can keep an eye on you.”

“See?” Neptune said, giggling. “And I’m happy to be here.”

Nepgear blushed a little thanks to Neptune’s words, but she didn’t say anything else. Instead she continued to move carefully through the forest, she held her energy sword in both hands by her sides.

“This is why I wish I had a little sister. Someone I could help, or be helped by. Someone I can spoil or be spoiled by. It’s nice and sweet.” Said Vert.

“Yeah. Too bad for you that Nepgear is my baby sister.” Said Neptune, eyeing Vert suspiciously.

After walking for several long moments, the girls finally reached a large clearing. Located around the edges of the clearing were cut down trees and bushes. It was obvious that the thing that made the clearing wasn’t natural.

Nepgear looked straight ahead and gasped. Standing in the middle of the clearing was Yvoire. “So you’ve come.” Yvoire said, his voice was low and almost sounded like a growl. “I have to admit, I didn’t think you’d actually come. I thought you’d be too afraid to face me.”

“Nothing scary about an old fart.” Said Neptune, giggling. “So Yvoire, are you ready to go to jail for about a trillion years?”

“Well we don’t actually know how long he’ll be sentenced.” Said Cave, taking a few steps forwards. “Now Yvoire. You are under arrest. By Leanbox and Lady Green Heart’s authority, you will be taken into custody and face your due punishment.”

“No. I don’t think I will.” Said Yvoire, holding up a disc. “Do you know what this is?”

“Trick question?” Neptune said, tapping her lower lip thoughtfully. “Is it a monster summoning disc?”

“Very good. You do have a brain.” Said Yvoire.

“Hmm…” Neptune said, annoyed.

“Yes. This is a monster summoning disc. I didn’t know these thing existed until a little while ago.” Yvoire began. “One night while I was a sleep, Lady Green Heart came to me in a dream. She told me about some discs that could summon monsters. She also told me where I could find them.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Neptune said, waving her hand dismissively. “We’ve heard about these dreams before. We know you’re making them up.”

“Am I?” Yvoire said. “I admit I made up the last dream I told you about, but this one was different. In this dream I worked for Lady Green Heart. It was like regaining a lost memory.”

“Uh-oh….” Nepgear said, in a low voice. “Regaining a lost memory? He might be telling the truth here.”

“No.” Said Cave, shaking her head. “Lady Green Heart would never use these kinds of discs.”

“That is correct!” Yvoire said, chuckling. “In my dream Lady Green Heart told me where the discs were, but tasked me with destroying them. I can’t remember why I didn’t obey that command. Normally if Lady Green Heart commanded me to do something, I would obey. That’s why I realized something!”

“Uh-oh…” Nepgear said, once more.

“Yeah. I’m feeling it too.” Said Neptune.

“Nothing good, right?” Said Vert.

“The woman who ordered me to destroy these discs? She wasn’t the real Lady Green Heart. That’s why I didn’t obey her! I must have located the discs and hid them! It’s amazing how all that came back to me once I had that dream.” Said Yvoire, chuckling once more and holding his hands up in the air.

“And there it is.” Said Neptune, sighing deeply. “Hey Yvoire? Maybe you didn’t destroy the discs because you thought you could use them later? Ever thing about that?”

Yvoire’s smile vanished. “And then there’s you three.” Yvoire said, pointing a stern finger at Neptune, Vert and then Nepgear. “You three came to my village and you stole everything from me! New Leanbox could have been the greatest village on Gamindustri! The goddess herself would have came and lived amongst her people, but you stole that from me!” Yvoire was screaming now, his face turned bright red and spittle flew from his mouth as he raged on.

“I’LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THAT! DO YOU HEAR ME!?” Yvoire roared.

“Loud and clear dude.” Neptune said, as she started stretching her legs. “Come on ladies. Let’s get grandpa back to the home. He looks cold and hungry.”

Cave took a deep breath. “Agreed.” She said.

Yvoire began laughing hysterically. “You think you can stop me? Go monsters! Show these girls exactly who they’re dealing with!” The disc that Yvoire held began glowing brightly. When the glow became blinding, a monster appeared. “Now you’ll… What the hell?” Yvoire said, his shoulders sagged.

Only one monster appeared before Yvoire, but it wasn’t a hulking creature. Instead it was a single dogoo. The dogoo looked at the four girls that stood before it, before it’s gelatinous body turned right and began hopping away.

Neptune, Nepgear, Vert and Cave all wore confused looks on their faces. “Okay.” Yvoire said, as he dropped the disc and began rubbing his hands together. “I think you got the point.” Yvoire turned to leave, but Cave appeared in front of him in a flash.

“You aren’t going anywhere.” Cave said, placing a firm hand on the man’s shoulder.

Yvoire licked his lips. He balled his hands into tight fists and looked like he was about to take a swing at the girl, but a single look from Cave stopped him. “I’ll go quietly.” The man said.

Several hours later security officers from Leanbox appeared in a truck and loaded Yvoire and his men onboard. After Cave gave her report, the truck turned and headed back towards Leanbox.

“I was just thinking, while watching that truck drive off. Why couldn’t we drive to the next Fairy Tower?” Asked Neptune.

“The terrain will change before we reach the tower. So that’s why.” Said Vert.

“Aw shucks.” Neptune said.

“That was anticlimactic.” Said Nepgear, watching as the truck disappeared over a hill. “After everything that I’ve been feeling. Dreaming about doing once I saw Yvoire again. I didn’t think it would just end like that. No dramatic fight. No explosions or army of monsters. I thought we’d at least throw a few punches, but he basically gave up just like that.”

“It’s alright.” Neptune said, as she slid her arms around Nepgear’s waist and rested her head on Nepgear’s back. Neptune closed her eyes and listened to her sisters heart beating for a few moments. “Sometimes it’s better if things just end. Yvoire wasn’t a threat to us. There’s no way that old cootie bag could tear us apart.”

“I know.” Nepgear said, feeling a bit embarrassed by how she felt before.

“Nepgear. I love ya more then anyone or anything in this world!” Said Neptune.

Nepgear giggled a bit. “I love you too Neptune.”

“Aw! See? This is why I want a baby sister of my own!” Vert said, before a thought suddenly came to her. “Come to think about it.”

“No.” Neptune said, stepping between Vert and Nepgear.

“No not that.” Vert said, waving her hand dismissively. “I was thinking about Chika. I think she would make a great little sister. Don’t you?”

***

Yvoire folded his hands together and sighed deeply. “Everything I tried to accomplish has failed. What’s the point anymore? No doubt the real Lady Green Heart has forsaken me. All of this was for nothing.”

Yvoire felt a heaviness in his heart. One that he wasn’t sure how he could possibly get past. After his own village kicked him out, Yvoire along with a few believers, traveled Leanbox with him. They discovered old memories together and found the discs that could summon monsters as well.

The group thought they had finally found the right weapon to fight back against the unbelievers that plagued Leanbox. However, even that new weapon failed him. “Why didn’t I check what was on that final disc before I used it?” Yvoire wondered, bitterly to himself.

The truck suddenly came to a stop and the sounds of the trucks doors opening and slamming shut, caught everyone off guard. “What’s happening?” One of the men said, nervously.

“No doubt they weren’t planning to take us back to Leanbox. Were most likely about to die.” Yvoire said. The calmness Yvoire managed to show surprised everyone in the truck, including himself.

The back of the trucks doors were opened and the two men that were garbed in bright green armor, took off their helmets. “Hello.” One of the men said. “You must be Yvoire. You’re the one who started New Leanbox and discovered those monster summoning discs, correct?”

Yvoire didn’t say anything. Instead he looked into the eyes of his captors and nodded.

“Good.” The man said. “I would like to talk a bit about myself if you don’t mind.” The man began. “I’m a lover of technology. I’ve built small robots and giant ones. Everything I’ve ever done and accomplished was for one reason and one reason only. To serve the goddess that I love and worship.”

“Lady Green Heart?” Yvoire said, breaking his silence.

“No.” The man said. This simply response enraged Yvoire, but he kept it to himself. “No. I don’t worship Lady Green Heart, but I do understand your admiration for her. I respect it too.”

“Do you?” Yvoire said, a tinge of venom could be detected in his voice.

“Yes of course.” The man continued. “But I have to say. Something is very wrong in Gamindustri. You’ve heard about Neptune and her friend’s quest to restart the Fairy Towers, right?”

“I have.” Yvoire said.

“Same here.” The man said. “I actually think their quest is very important and I believe they need to finish that quest before we do anything against them.”

“Why are you telling me all this?” Yvoire demanded.

“According to Cave’s statement. You told her that you had a dream about the goddess. How she told you about those discs. Is that correct?” The man asked.

“That’s right.” Said Yvoire.

“Well. I’ve also had dreams like that.” The man chuckled. “Though technically they aren’t dreams. Were actually regaining our memories. Thanks to that, I’ve actually found a lot of things that I had forgotten. That’s why I haven’t tried anything yet.”

“I don’t get what you’re saying.” Said Yvoire.

The man sighed deeply. “Yvoire. You remembered those discs thanks to Neptune and her friends activating the Fairy Towers. Just imagine what you’ll remember once they’ve finished activating them all.”

Yvoire nodded his head several times. “Good point. I should have waited.”

“Should have? You act like everything’s over.” The man said.

“Isn’t it?” Yvoire asked, raising his hands and shaking the chain that connected the cuffs around his wrists.

“Oh please.” The man said, snapping his fingers. The cuffs around Yvoire and his men’s wrists fell to the floor of the truck and clattered underneath the seats. “I didn’t take you into custody because I planned on handing you over to Leanbox or killing you. I took you into custody to ask you for two things.”

“Let me guess. You want me to stop attacking those girls?” Yvoire asked.

“Exactly.” Said the man.

Yvoire took a deep, jagged breath. “I guess I could ignore those sinners for a little while longer.” Yvoire nodded his head several times as he rubbed his hands together. After that he turned his eyes towards the man. “And the second thing?”

“I want you to tell me everything you know about this.” The man reached into his pocket and pulled out the disc that Yvoire had used to summon the dogoo.

Yvoire shrugged his shoulders. “Alright, but I don’t know much.”

“That’s alright.” The man said. “Let’s go somewhere where we can talk in private.”

“Fine.” Yvoire said. “But before that. Who are you?”

The man smiled a tooth grin. “My name is G.”
